PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

ONEHUNGA ANNUAL MEETING Good progress in the strengthening of the financial position of the church and the deepening of the spiritual life wore revealed in the reports of the past year submitted to the annual meeting of the congregation of the Onehunga Presbyterian Church last week. The minister, the Rev. W. J. Pellow, presided. The board of managers reported that a considerable sum of money had been raised for the improvement of church property and that numerous repairs and renovations had been made. A strong missionary spirit had been in evidence and more than £','(oo had been raised for objects outside the congregation. The treasurer reported that the finances of the church were in a very satisfactory condition. Special mention was made of the strength of the youth movement, there being a total of 232 scholars and 24 teachers enrolled in the three Sunday schools.

The following additional officers were appointed to the kirk session and the board of managers:—Elders, Messrs. N. Tien fel 1 and D. Johnston; managers, Messrs. R. W. Bissett, J. W. Cavana, G. W. Davics, E. W. Graham, W. G. Stoupo (re-elected), Messrs. N. V. Baker, L. Fairgrav, T. Melville, D. 0. Skinner (new members).
