ORPHANS' CLUB
An interesting talk on Maori wood carving, illustrated with lantern slides, was given by Mr. Gilbert Archoy, director of the Auckland War Memorial Museum, at the fortnightly gathering of the Auckland Orphans' Club in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday night. The vice-president, Mr. V. R. Meredies, presided. An onioynblo programme' included selections by the elu'uV orchestra, under Mr. Eric Waters.
