PRESENTATIONS
Tributes were paid to two members Of the train running office at Auckland, Messrs. W. J. Power and R. •Campbell, on the eve of their transfer on promotion, the former to Ohakune ' Junction and the latter to Wellington. The presentation of a writing set and •cigarette case to Mr. Power and a hodToom clock and tobacco pouch to Mr. -Campbell was made by Mr. J. Sawers, assistant district traffic manager, in the absence of the traffic manager, Mr. VH. O. Couch,.
