[BLOMFIELD BEATS MEEHAN OPPONENT KNOCKED OUT i . - [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS, Wednesday Lofty Blomfield defeated Pat Meehan by two falls to one at Hastings tonight before a packed house. Meehan. secured a fafl in the fourth round with a forward toehold and in the sixth round Blomfield applied an octopus clamp and secured a fall. In the last round Meehan, dazed after a series of elbow jolts and back slams, dived through the ropes. He got to his feet and staggered to the ■orchestral well, fell four feet and was knocked out.
