PURCHASE FROM RUMANIA LONDON. August 30 A contract has been completed' between the Rumanian Government and an important British grain firm to supply Britain with one-third of Rumania's exportable wheat surplus, valued at £2,000,000, says the Daily Telegraph.

Forty per cent of the purchase price will be paid into a clearing account to reduce outstanding debts to Britain, and 40 per cent will be used to finance the import of additional British goods.
