JHE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE VALUES AGAIN [WEAKER With tho exception of fairly heavy dealing in leading Australian industrials, tho investment market generally tras dull on' the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Values for tho majority of issues again followed a downward course. Supplies of gilt-edged wero more scarce, _ and the market consequently was quieter. Banks wero dull. National Insurances lost further ground, but other issues wero fairly steady. Support for Broken Hill Proprietary and Electrolytic Zincs was poor, and values for both issues were marked down. Colonial Sugars regained somo of the ground recently lost. Dunlop-l'erdriaus ' advanced, but more were available at the current level at tho close. G. J. Coles dropped steadily during the day, but Woolworths (Sydney) changed hands at a higher level. An exception to tho general weaker levels was and Clioyce, debenture stock, which made a forward move. The sharp decline in oil shares • continued, and Taranakis suffered a further setback.
