BISHOP BADDELEY

VISIT TO AUCKLAND MANY ENGAGEMENTS ARRANGED To attend to business connected with the Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross VII. before keeping several preaching engagements in the Thames district next week-end, the lit. Rev. W. li. Baddeley, Bishop of Melanesia, arrived in Auckland by train from New Plymouth yesterday. Ho at the Waverley Hotel. Returning to Auckland early nest week. Bishop Baddeley will address a mass meeting in the Holy Sepulchre Hall on Tuesday and will spend the rest of the week at the Takapuna, Otahuhu and Remuera churches. On September 11 he will visit Hamilton, preaching at St. George's and St. Aidan's churches and at St. Peter's Cathedral. On September 13 lie address a meeting of the Diocesan Churchmen's Association in Auckland. Later he will'go to Whangarei for -1 short visit.
