RETURNED SOLDIERS
MAIN BODY SOCIAL EVENING There was a good attendance of members and friends at the monthly social of the Main Body Association of the X.Z.E.F., hold in the rooms of the Catholic Women's League on Saturday night. Dancing, games, competitions, and items provided excellent entertainment. Songs were rendered by Miss Lilian Kennedy and humorous anecdotes and song and dance numbers by Mr. Bert Watson.
Winners of competitions were Miss Joyce Hartley, Miss Betty Kirkham, Mr. J. K. Rogers and Mr. P. Hepplestonc. Mr. and Mrs. Squire were the winners of the Monte Carlo. Supper was in charge of the ladies committee, comprising Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. Hart, Mrs. McCorinaek, Mrs. O'Hara, Mrs Rogers, Mrs. Kirkham, Mrs. West.
