AUTOMATIC OPENER MOSCOW, Angnst 28 Two hundred experimental jumps have proved tlie success of an automatic parachute opener invented by two Russian engineers. Tlio mechanism resembles that of an alarm clock. It opens the envelope of a parachute in between five and 128 seconds, as desired.
