August 3 The province of Ontario having asked its Lieutenant-Governor for reasons of economy to house himself, Chorley Park, erstwhile Government House, has been turned over to the Hospital for Sick Children as a gift. It had beeu offered for sale, but there wore no bidders. , . . , Expensive and historic tnrnishings of Chorlev Park were auctioned for ..about 20,000 dollars. An ivory bedroom suite, used on visits to Toronto by the Duke of Windsor when he was Prince of Wales, was knocked down for about 250 dollars. , rv . The present Hon.
