HAMILTON EAST DISTRICT [from our own* correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Beports that steady progress was being made throughout the district were received at the annual meeting of Knox Church, Hamilton East. Tlio financial position was stated to be satisfactory.
The election of the management committee resulted:—Messrs. D. S. McKinlay, D. Hiddell, J. Preest, W. Sharpe, B. Davis, I. McDonald, J. Wards, A. It. Bruce. M. Buist, M. Cameron and L. St. George.
MOREINSVILLE CONGREGATION [from ouk own correspondent]
MORRINSVILLE, Monday
Five members of the board of managers of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Morrinsville—Messrs. J. Hammond, W. Hartley, G. C. Porter, J. M. Stewart and K. Hobbs —were re-elected at the annual meeting of the congregation. There were other vacancies to be filled through the resignation of Mr. J. L. Arndt and the election of Messrs. H. S. Herbert and R. Hyndman as elders. Messrs. Angus Cameron, L. Gray and J. M. Noble were elected with the five other members to the board of managers. Mr. D. C. McLeod retired from the office of session clerk to the church, after 26 years of service. As an acknowledgment of his services, he was presented with a writing desk, and Mrs. McLeod was given a teaset.
