BOROUGH ENGINEER
LOWER HUTT POSITION [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Monday It is announced that Mr. H. Reynolds Bach, at 'present borough engineer at Onebunga, has been appointed engineer to the Lower Hutt Borough Council. There were 36 applications, including one from England. The council narrowed these down to four, three of whom were from Wellington. Prior to joining the Onehunga Borough Council staff, where he has been for 18 months, Mr. Bach was engineer to the Thames Borough Council. He is New Zealand born and married. Ho will begin his duties in six weeks.
