SNOOKER
The Auckland provincial open snooker championship will commence on Monday evening at Barton McGill's billiard hall. This tournament has created a great deal of interest and. as most of Auckland's leading cueists will be participating, there should be some good contests. The present title-holder, D. White, of Devonport. will defend his title.
