LADIES' ASSOCIATION A decision to present sticks to Mcsdames Askow and Gawler in recognition of their selection for the New Zealand team this season was mado at a meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association. Mrs. P. H. Dawson presided. All games under the control of (lie association will be postponed on Saturday on account of the test match • against the Indians Mrs. R. N. Hamlin was appointed manager chaperone of the Auckland provincial team, which will participate in tho Dominion tourney to be held at Gisborno, commencing on Saturday,
