FKANKTON QUOTATIONS FULL FAT SHEEP ENTRY KEEN COMPETITION FOR PIGS [FROM OUK OtVN COnRRSfO.N'OENT] HAMILTON, Tuesday , A full entry of all classes of fat sheep came forward at the Frankton stock sale- to-da.v, the market being well supplied with prime wethers and a good offering of Southdown mutton. Opening values were quiet, but prices improved as the sale progressed, receding again toward the finish. A better class of fat hogget came forward and values remained steady.

Only a small entry of store sheep was penned, prices showing improvement. There was a full offering of ox beef, with cow and heifer beef in shorter supply. Competition for all classes was • firm, witli no appreciable variation in vulucs from last week s realisations. A medium offering of boner cows met with a ready sale, with values remaining on a par with recent quotations, while a number of yearling Jersey heifers elicited a good inquiry.
