PAKURANGA HUNT

GOOD BUNS ENJOYED FLAT BUSH SCHOOL MEET HEAVY GROUND CONDITIONS The ground was heavy when tho Pnkuranga Hunt met at the Flat Bush School yesterday, but, in spite of the going, some good runs were enjoyed during tho day. A fair number of followers turned out for tho day's sport. Hounds threw off on Mr. W. Ormistone's land and worked through to the properties of Mr. C. Rutherford and Mr. T. D. Ormistone. On tho latter a hare was viewed away. Crossing the creek to Mr. L. RosV farm she made out on to the Flat Bush road, and ran through Mr. C. Murphy's property, being eventually lost in some bush. Hounds were then taken back to Mr. Ross' land and worked round a gully without success. The hunt then crossed the road to the fields of Mr. T. Brady, passing through Mr. M. Upton's land to that of Mr. D. Carr, where a hare was put up. After circling round tho farm she doubled back into tho bush 011 Mr. Upton's property, crossed a ploughed field and ran back to Mr. Carr's farm. From there she circled again to Mr. Brady's land, came out on- the road and was lost toward tho Flat Bush School. Anion? those present were:—The master, Mr. H.
