T G SOUTH AFRIC \ wmmm wtitt. Wmm wßm Sfst3&3j6tfS?2S -.. _..... The winners ivilh their Bantam —R. Danford and G. Stanley. BANTAM SALOON WINS THE LIGHT CAR CLASS IN THE WORLD'S MOST ARDUOUS RELIABILITY TRIAL Acknowledged to be the greatest test of man and machine in the motoring world, this event was an outstanding success for the well-known Singer Bantam. Both the drivers, Ronald Danford and Gerald Stanley, and the Singer Saloon are to be congratulated on their epic performance over 2500 miles of mud and teeming rain, over flooded roads and mountain passes —and all without a vestige of engine trouble. Retirements and crashes caused by the bad road conditions, and, in one instance, by a driver falling asleep through sheer fatigue, were many, yet the Singer won through with overwhelming success. The Singer Bantam completed the entire 2500 miles under these terrible conditions, within the scheduled 1 03 hours, winning the Light Car Class Cup, the Union Cup, and the Trophy for the best performance by a British car of any class. This amazing performance, under particularly adverse conditions, is a great tribute to the wonderful reli-. ability of the Singer Bantam, a car which has become deservedly popular both in this country and abroad. yV.y»V The Doctor said: "As a stimulant he'can take a little Wolfe's Schnapps " Wolfe's Schnapps is the safest stimulant Because it represents the highest point of purity in distilled spirits—because it never varies in quality—because its judicious use produces effects that are the very reverse of harmful, Wolfe's Schnapps is the safest of all stimulants. Your habit of having an occasional "drink" will be a good one if you always ask for Wolfe's Schnapps. W.5.136.20.N.Z. i;: czinrumdtic ddmclafr) Sir.
