MEN OF KENT
SOCIAL EVENING HELD VARIED PROGRAMME The monthly social of the Auckland branch of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men was held in the Fabian Club rooms, the president, Mr. J. W. Jenks, assisted by Mrs. Jenks, welcoming the visitors and members. The programme was provided by the Ulster Association, after the president, Mr J. C. Entricau, the honorary secretary, Mr. A. Rainey, and members of their association had been cordially welcomed by Mr. Jenks. The items included songs by Mrs. B. Rothery, Miss Hallidav and Mr. R. B. Brodie; humorous recitations by Captain Harrison Lee and Mrs. Horne, and a sketch by the two latter artists. The accompanists were Mrs. Lady Payne and Miss Heading, 'lhe performers were heartily thanked for their en lovable entertainment. There was dancing after supper, an orchestra of club members comprising Mr" Payne, Mr. and Mrs. J, Elmsley and Mr. H. Warder providing .the music.
