REVUE COMPANY'S VISIT

THE "HOLLYWOOD HOTEL" An unusual sight in the city streets yesterday morning was a parade of a number of the members of the east of the "Hollywood Hotel Revue" from the side of the Aorangi, on which the company arrived from America, up Queen Street to His Majesty's Theatre. Attired in the practice clothes in which they will rehearse for the entertainment opening at His Majesty's on Friday night, they were accompanied by the troupe of negro dancers attired in full revue costume. Crowds lined the footpaths to see the procession pass, and a very lively interest was taken in the first view of the performers. The company, which has won a wide reputation in the United States, came to New Zealand from New York under the direction of Sir Benjamin Fuller, who was last year associated in the production of the "Marcus Show." Before the opening of the show on Friday night members of the cast will impersonate famous film players in a representation of a Hollywood premiere on the stage. Among the cast are such well-known performers as M illie and Kaigeno Howard, Marty May, a versatile musician, and Jack and June Blair, Hollywood dancers. Jack Whitney, a New' York singer, also appears. Booking arrangements are advertised.
