INJURIES TO BOY
CONDITION STILL SERIOUS Tlio condition of the boy Barry John Hayes, aged 12, son of Mr. G. B. Hayes, of Beach Road, Birkdale, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from head injuries and the effects of immersion in the water, was serious last night. Tlio boy is believed to have fallen about 30ft. from the top of a rock on the shore at Island Bay into shallow water.
