THREE ORDERS PLACED VESSELS OF 5450 TONS (Bnreivpd August 10, G.r, p.m.) British AVireless I?UGBY, August 18 Subject to tho settlement of certain points, the Admiralty has decided to entrust the construction of one of the 5450-ton Dido class cruisers of tho 19-38 programme to each of the following firms:—Cammell, Laird and Company, Limited, Birkenhead; R. and W. Hawthorn, Leslie and Company, Limited, Hebbnrn, Neweastle-on-Tyne; and Scotts' Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Limited, Greenoeh.
