PERFECT TWINS

They Dislike Dieti And Do Not Smoke

WHEN he was a boy, Mr. Harold Robinson, of Chadderton Road, Oldham, Lancashire, fell from a tree and seriously injured his spine. Later on he dislocated his hip, and became a complete cripple. Doctors gave him .up, and for months he was encased in plaster of paris. He was condemned to an early death. Then one day, after taking a special course of treatment, he found he could walk without crutches. To-day he is finely-built and fit. Daisy and Rose His own early experiences fired him with a determination that if ho had a family he would do all in his power to see that his children were perfect in health and physique. Twins were born—Daisy and Rose. They are now 18, and physical culture experts, artists, and photographers declare they are Britain's best-developed girls. Last year Daisy won a health and strength contest in London, which was open, to the British Isles, and secured the title of "Britain's perfect girl." Rose was placed fourth in the same contest. In the previous year Daisy was second and Rose third in the same contest, while in November last they both securod prizes in another national face and figure competition. They have also won many prizes for swimming. Daisy and Hose were expert swimmers when tlie.v were only three, and since then tlie.v have both excelled at all kinds of sports and athletics. Dress Alike They look alike, dress alike, are inseparable, and now they have gone on the stage together in a double dancing act. Their measurements fire the same—height sft. 4Jin. ; weight Bst. 81b., bust •'Uin., waist 25in., hips 34in., thigh 22iin., calf 13in., ankle Bin., neck 12gin. The twins told an interviewer .they owe everything to the early training given them by their once-crippled father. "He was wonderful to us,' remarked Daisy. "He taught us the value of

games and exercise from the first day we could walk." Neither Daisy nor Rose has ever tasted a cocktail and they donotsmoke, while they scorn the idea of dieting. They are great advocates of the "keep fit" movement, and they have one great ambition—to tie for the first place in the forthcoming national health and strength contest which they are entering. jf they do, Mr. Robinson will be England's proudest father!
