MAKING EARTHQUAKES
Instead of going to the various parts of the globe where earthquakes are common, scientists in America are going to make their own quakes this summer to holp them in their study of the earth's crust. The members of the Geological Society of America have decided to produce huge blasts in various New England quarries, and they will note the time it takes for the detonation to bo recorded at the various field stations.
