INTRODUCING MIRRY

—Madge Hogwood, M.B.G. (18), (Original). T)EAR ANNE .SHIRLEY,—When we moved over to The Oaks, wo left our cats at The -Nook for a while, but fed them quite often. 0116 daj r my sister walked over and when she left there Mirry, the pet young cat, started to follow her. After a while Mirry thought she had gone far enough so mv sister carried her by the scruff of her neck Cas she refused to be carried otherwise) for the rest of the way, about a mile and a-half 1 ' ..... ... Mirry seemed to enjoy her new surroundings very much -indeed,, but was not so pleased when the other cats found •their way over, as that meant less petting and less to eat! Her favourite place to sit is on the kitchen windowsill, from which she watches 11s cooking or at our breakfast. Although .Mirry is only . black and •white she is , very prettily marked and has such a sweet face' for a cat ! In fact she is one of the nicest pussies I have known. —Best wishes from Madge Hogwood, • M.8.G., Parua Bay.
