DIVE TO DEATH
MOTORIST EXONERATED How he dived to his death before a car was demonstrated at the Wareham, Dorset, inquest on Frederick Waldrou, solicitor's managing clerk, of Iford, Bournemouth. The driver of the car, Walter Wade, of Ancrley, South-east London; by going down on his knees and then diving forward, showed the coroner how Waldron fell beneath his wheels. sJrs. Waldron stated that she was.in a friend's car with her husband, who, she noticed, opened one of the doors. When tho car had drawn up she saw him face downward in the middle of the road, and a car travelling in the opposite direction passed over him. The jury returned a verdict of "Suicide while the balance of mind was disturbed," and exonerated Mr. Wade from blame.
