A FAREWELL PARTY An enjoyable farewell bridge party was given by Mrs. M. P. Munro and Mrs. P. W. Doherty, of Tauranga, at the home of tho former, tho guest of honour being Miss G. Tait. Mrs. Munro received wearing a frock of scarlet ninon, while Mrs. Dohertv was in black velvet and lame. Miss Tait, who wore autumn-shaded georgette, was presented with a chromium and pink boudoir clock. Mrs. W. Johnston, 7th Avenue, has left to spend a holiday in Auckland. Miss Anne Willis is spending a fortnight in Christcliurch. Mrs. A. Skinner', of Willow Street, is visiting Auckland.
