She will stay with her sister-in-law, Mrs. R. George, of Epsom. Mrs. F. W. Wilson and Ruth Wilson, of Mountain Road, Epsom, returned on Thursday from a visit to Taupo and Rotorua. Mrs. G. Coltman, of Market Road, Remuera, is leaving to-day to spend a week in Rotorua. where she will be the guest of Mrs. A. Coltman. The Countess of Orford, Lady Anne Walpole and Miss Juliet Ridley, returned yesterday morning from a visit to Christchurch and Wellington.

Hudson, in Sydney, Members of the Malvern Croquet Club held their fortnightly card afternoon in the club pavilion on Thursday. Many players wero present, and the afternoon passed most enjoyably. A son has been born to Dr. and Mrs. Derek 10. Denny-Brown, of New Plymouth, wrote our London correspondent on August 3. Dr. Dennv-Brown is still specialising in London as a neurologist. Miss G. L. Mrs. Philip Savill, who lias been the guest of Miss Olwen Burton, of Cornwall Park Avenue for the last few weeks, will leave for Port Sudan via Australia on Monday, accompanied by her mother, Lady Richardson. Mrs. A. A. Hambly and Miss Tui Hambly, of Gisborne, have been travelling oil the Continent, and are now in Cornwall, wrote our London correspondent on August 3. The Glasgow Exhibition has also been included in their itinerary, Mrs. R. Dickie, of Cheltenham, Auckland, who is on a world tour with her husband, has been visiting LieutenantCnmmander and Mrs. H. tt. Bullimore, at Portsmouth. Mrs. Derrick Houchin, nf Newcastle, North Ireland, formerly Miss 101 lie Tronsen, of Remuera, Auckland, has also been the guest of Mrs. Bullimore, wrote our London correspondent on August 3. Invitations have been issued by Mr, and Mrs. Cecil B. Rooke for the wedding of Mr. Owen J. C. Mason, of Auckland, and Miss Jane Armstrong, elder daughter or Mr. A. L. Armstrong, British Consul, Tonga. The ceremony will take place on August 20 at St.. James' Church, Sussex Gardens, Lancaster Gate.
