Warner Baxter, who is usually seen in lighter parts, gives ;i notable performance in the role of the Scottish patriot Alan Breek. Jn hoth the action sequences aad the romantic interludes his portrayal is equally impressive. A newcomer to ihe screen, Arleen Whelan, appears opposite Baxter, and the gentleness and wistfulness of her acting are most appealing.
