PALESTINE CLASHES
[BRUSH WITH ARAB BANDITS LAND MINE EXPLOSION British Wireless RUGBY, August 11 The Colonial Office has been advised from Palestine that military forces engaged a small party of armed Arabs in Tulkarra and Quarlquilliya, killing one bandit and wounding two. There were no casualties anions the troops. The High Commissioner in Palestine, Sir Hugh MeMiehael, states in a telegram that near Tulkarm a post office messenger was robbed of £9O yesterday An explosion of a land mine resulted in a Jewish passenger in a taxi being killed and another wounded near Hedera. Two British soldiers in a lorry were slightly , wounded near Jenin, and a Jewish boy in a lorry was slightly wounded near the northern frontier.
