MR. J. A. LECKIE VACANCY IN COMMONS f British "Wireless RUGBY, August 10 The death has occurred of Mr. J. A. Lcckic, Liberal member of the House of Commons for Walsall. Mr. Leckie, who was 72, was a leather goods manufacturer. He was Mavor of Walsall in 1926, was a J.P., chairman of the Walsall Education Committer and a member of the English-speaking Union. He was elected to the House of Commons for Walsall in 1931 and again in 1935.
