FAST ATLANTIC FLIGHT
GERMAN MONOPLANE BREMEN-NEW YORK NON-STOP REGULAR SERVICE PLANNED (Keceived August 12, 7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 11 A German Lufthansa four-cngined Condor monoplane, with a crew of four, after being prepared in greatest secrecy last night, made a non-stop flight to New York to-day from Staaken airport, Bremen, paving the way for a regular service. Captain Alfred Henke and Captain Rudolf von Moreau were co-pilots. The aeroplane left secretly for New •York at 9.53 p.m., yesterday, and arrived here at 3.50 p.m. to-da.y (local time). The distance flown was 3942 miles, and the time 2-1 hours 56 minutes.
