THE LAND'S END
DEPARTURE FOR RUSSELL [by telegraph—owx correspondent] WHANGAR EI, Friday Under fine weather conditions, the yacht Land's End left the town wharf at Whangarei this morning for Russell, the final port of call before tho voyage is continued to the Islands. Captain H. Jeffery, tho owner of the yacht, said beforo tho vessel sailed that ho intended to revisit Whangarei on his return from the Tongan Groups. He added that it was uncertain whether the return visit would bo made on the way down to Auckland from the Islands, or on the outward journey. The ship's complement was entertained at lunch yesterday by the Whangarei Harbour Board.
