ADVICE TO AUTHORS
Kditors might do worse than provide budding authors with free copies of Miss Ursula Bloom's "A.B.C. of Authorship.'" The ink and paper the. recipients would save! It is a hook of sound common-sense. \et the advice to those who would write is not I'uneh s "j)on't." Our mentor is constructivo and practical. She maps the pitfalls in the beginner's path, hut shows the way round. She explains editorial psychology and the law of lihel, how to build short stories and how not to send in your manuscript—and a host of other things. All who would write should read this hook —then try again, for they will want to, "The A.B.C. of Authorship," by Ursula Bloom. (Bliickic.)
