METHODIST GUILD
COMPETITIONS PARTY The annual competitions afternoon organised by the Kingsland Methodist Ladies Guild, was held on Thursday. The guests were welcomed by the president, Mrs. W. Heape. and the Rev. S. J. Werren, minister of the church. Articles, which were afterwards for sale, were judged by Mrs. T. Clarke and Miss A. Kennedy. The following were prize-winners:—Mrs. Barnett, Mrs. Heape, Mrs. W. Hutledge, Mrs. Shortland and Mrs. W. Ryan. An address was given , by Miss A. Kennedy, a member of -he National Council of Physical Welfare and Recreation. Afternoon tea, served by a committee, concluded a most interesting afternoon.
