The opportunity to settle the controversy which arose out of the final incident of the bout will be provided to-night, when Blomfield and Lopez will be rcmatched at the Town Hall. In the excitement which was caused when the refereo was temporarily incapacitated in the seventh round many people were uncertain as to what had actually happened, but Lopez was quite definite on tho point. Ho maintained that lie had pinned Blomfield while the referee was dazed and that tho decision should have gone to him. There were many in tho hall who were prepared to support Lopez's contention, but there was also a larpe number of 810111-. field supporters who claimed that Blomfield had not 'been pinned, but had fairly taken a fall out of his opponent.
