AMBULANCE SERVICE
REQUEST BY CAMBRIDGE [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Fridaj A meeting of the executive of the Cambridge branch of the St. John Ambulance Association last evening considered correspondence frorn the Auckland association in connection with an an application made by Cambridge for a grant from the subsidy paid by the Waikato Hospital Board for the motor ambulance service. Members expressed dissatisfaction with the reply and the treatment being received. The Auckland association wrote stating that it was .unable to assist the Cambridge branch and that there was nothing mentioned in the Hospital Board agreement concerning Cambridge. Mr. H. E. Ain.ves said it was useless to pursue the request further by correspondence. It was decided that the chairman and secretary wait on the Auckland executive at its next meeting. and outline the position at Cambridge.
