CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
DOMINION CONFERENCE i AUCKLAND IN OCTOBER The Auckland Chamber of Commerce has been advised by the Associated Chambers of Commerco that their annual conference will be held this year in Auckland, the dates being tentatively fixed for October 20 and 21. It may bo necessary to chaugo these dates because it is not desired to clash with the general election. Annual conferences of tho associated chambers have not been held in Auckland since 1929. 011 the last occasion a conference was hold in Auckland it took placo in the Town llall. but this year it will bo hold in tho Chamber of Commerce Building, which is now undergoing alterations for the purpose. The president this year is Mr. A. G. Luun, of Auckland, and the vice-presi-dent Mr. Maurice Myers, of Dunedin.
