DOMINION SCHOOLS' TEAM PLAYERS CONGRATULATED The control board of tho Auckland Football Association at its meeting last evening resolved to convey congratulations to the four Auckland boys chosen to tour Australia next month with the New Zealand secondary schools' team. Pleasure was expressed at the fact that followers of the code would linve nn opportunity of -seeithose players in action in the curtain-raiser to the Auclc-land-Navy match at 'Blamlford Park next Saturday. A challenge for the Flyger Roso Bowl was received from tho Smith Auckland Association. The selector of the Auckland team, Jlr. J. C. Sibbin, Ktipeostcd that, in order to assist, tho South Auckland Association, tho match Hhould bo played at Hamilton. This was agreed to, and tho arranging of a nuitablo date for the match was left to Mr. Sibbin. Advice was received from tho Xew Zealand Football Association that it had been decided to abandon the annual secondary schools' tournament, which was to bo held during the present month. The judicial committee reported that it considered the ordering-off of J, Fyvic, of Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys, for ungenflomanly conduct in tho match against Comrades last Saturday was sufficient, punishment. This finding was confirmed. Tho following transfers wero approved:— A. Hinckley, Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys to Onehunga; J. Carter, Comrades to Thistle. Officials were appointed to tho following grounds on Saturday:—Blandford Park, Messrs. L. Munro, W. A. Cole. JT. C. Cable, W. Walker; Domain, Mr. J. C. Sibbin; Victoria Park, Mr. F. G. Fullbrook; Western Springs. Mr. H. Cribble.
