BIRKENHEAD WOMEN
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION The monthly meeting of the Birkenhead Women's Association held in the Returned Soldiers' Hall yesterday afternoon was very well attended, lhe president, Mrs. E. J. Osborne, was in the chair. The speaker for the afternoon was Miss 1. Butherford, who dealt in an interesting, manner with tlio subject of astrology. Mrs. A. E. Wood detailed the matters engaging the attention of the National Council of Women. A bring-and-buv stall, to raise funds for the Society lor the Protection of and Children, was well patronised. Mrs. Stanley Mills was in charge of it.
