SOCIAL AT OHAKUNE
SWIMMING BATHS COMMITTEE' Members of the Ohakunc Swimming Baths Committee, together with a large number ol friends, met in the Scouts Hall recently, when a social evening was held in honour of Mrs. AV. Hussey, who had successfully carried out the recent coronation ceremony organised by the committee to raise funds for j the construction of the baths. The social was arranged by the ladies of the committee, comprising Mrs. Hm-die, Mrs. Goile. Mrs. Presnell, Mrs. Curran. and Mrs. Downes. During the evening Mrs. Hussey was presented with crystal bowl filled with fruit. In making, the presentation, Mr. J. H. Morrow said the committee was greatly indebted to Mrs. Hussey for the very capable way in which she had carried"out her heavy task to such a successful conclusion.
