12 DEGREES AT RUAKURA HIGHEST READING FOR YEAR [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday Severe frosts were experienced at Ruakura and Hamilton yesterday and to-day. The thermometer registered 12.2deg. of frost at Ruakura yesterday, a record for the year, while in Hamilton the reading was Bdeg. Conditions were milder this morning, when s.4deg. were registered at Ruakura and 3deg. in Hamilton.
