BAY OF PLENTY HUNT
TAURANGA WARD'S MEET HARES SCARCE AT WAIKARAKA [by TELEGRAPHj-OWN correspondent] T/VURANGA, Monday Members of tho Tauranga ward of the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club held a meet at Waikaraka, Te Puna. Unfortunately no hares were raised. However, jumping was of a high standard. The followers were entertained to afternoon tea by Mrs. Snodgrass. Among the followers were:—Tho huntsman, Mr. A. Fenton, on Dick; Mr. C. Taylor (whip), on Tom Tit; Mr. W. Humphrys (whip), on "Wahoo; Mr. X. Heard, on R liana; Mr H. Sommers, on Nero; Mr. Snodgrass, on Songstress; Mr. Kelly, on Rhana; Mr. G. Fogert.v, on Chlce; Mr. S. H. Woods, on Nero; Mr. R. Moorhead, on Tasha; Mr. 11. Pemberton, on Queen Bess; Mr. M. Pcrsfon, on Oropi Lass; Master Jack Turner, on Diana; Master Koss Grey Boy; Miss E. Anderson on Lame, Miss M. Hamilton, on Barney; Miss I. Hicks, on Pnddv- V Hollis, on Gay Sheen, Hiss, M Turner! on Paddy: Miss D. Henry, on Dolly.
