OPEN. CHAMPIONSHIP The Auckland open billiards championship was con'tinned at Messrs. Barton and McGill's hall last evening, the players being 11. Garrick and A. Crossan. Carrick scored freely at the start and had reached 200 when Crossan was 100. Crossan then made two breaks ot 42, also runs of 34 and 29, and ■ drew close to Carrick. Carrick went ahead again with two breaks of 52. The final scores were:—Camels <500; Crossan, 401. .JP- F v 'W.~Hsldßworth will play A. Moon W 7.45 o'clock this Evening.
