Sir, —In ft recent interesting; address on rational diet Dr. E. J. Cronin stressed the fact that the protective foods and milk and eggs were too expensive for the average child and adult to enjoy an adequate diet. Just recently also at the conference of delegates to the New Zealand Women's Institute the desire was expressed to see oranges made available at a lower price. While milk returns the farmer something like 7d per gallon, surely bulk delivery at a price within the reach of all would make the consumption of the amount necessary to good health possible.
