I QUALITY, FINISH AND STYLE Pioneers of lie manufacturing in New Zealand and the largest Arm in the trade, the Parisian Neckwear Company Limited, of Lorno Street, Auckland, owes ils success to the quality, finish v and style of its products. For over 20 years the company has been manufacturing neckwear that has met the warm approval pf New Zealand men. From small beginnings the company has gradually developed, until at the present time it occupies a prominent place among New Zealand's secondary industries wilh a staff nearing the 100 mark. An increased demand has brought about tlie need for greater factory and warehouse space, and at the present time two and a-half floors, each of G6OO square feel, are occupied, whereas the original floor space was only about onetwentieth of iliis area. Since Hie company was founded thousands of pounds have been paid out in wages lo operatives alone. Employment has also been indirectly provided for men and women in kindred industries such as box and carton manufacturing, prinling and commercial art, so that the company has done ils share in promoting New Zealand's welfare and in assisting to eliminate unemployment. In addilion the company has extended its operation to Australia, which is also served by .ils London office staffed by New Zealanders. London representatives visit the silk mills of England/and the Continent at regular intervals to select colourings and designs to suit the requirements of the trade in New Zealand. Such thoroughness ensures that the local purchaser may select from the wide range of quality neckwear manufactured, the tie which meets his fancy J in every respect. .. ..
