VICTORY FOR RATS
The surprising destruction by nativo rats of an airport 100 miles from Karachi is being talked about all over India. It was found that 'planes could not land on the ground as it seemed to give w &y, and ori investigation it was discovered that the whole field had been riddled with tunnels bv thousands of rats. Everything possible was done_ to get rid of these creatures, but without success, and man has now decided to abandon the fight and leave the rats in possession.
