Mrs. 11. T. Thomas, of Mission Bay, left last evening by the Mariposa for Melbourne on route to Singapore.
Mrs. J). M. Church, of Heme Bay, left by the limited express last _ evening for Wellington on a holiday visit.
Mrs. M. S. Henderson and Miss Gay Henderson, of Remuera, left yesterday by the Mariposa for a holiday in Australia.
Mrs. H. V. Coo and Miss Betty Coe, \ of Orakei Road, Renmera, returned yesterday by the Mariposa after, spending a' holiday iri California.
Mrs. A. G. N. Wyatt, of Coombe's Road, Renmera, will leave for the Chateau Tongariro on Monday with her sister-in-law, Mrs. M. Chantrey.
Mrs. H. Jeffrey (Natal, South Africa), Mrs. A. W. Buchanan Wellington), and Miss M. Strevolls (Washington, U.S.A.) are at the Central Hotel.
Mrs. D. M. Dow, whose husband is official secretary for Australia in the United States, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa en route to Melbourne.
Mrs. J- E. Freoland (Riverside, California), Mrs. H. T. Speight (Dunedin), Miss M. Hester, Miss E. E. Murphy (Santa Barbara), and Miss Winifred C. Murphy (Los Angeles) are at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. J. C. Geiger, wife of Dr. Geiger, director of the Department of Public Health of San Francisco, and Miss A. Geiger passed through Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa en route to Melbourne.
Mrs. M. S. Cummings, Miss P. L. Cummings (Canada), Mrs. E. Miller (United States), Mrs. J. R. Grey (Tahiti), Mrs. M. Millar (New South Wales), Mrs. G. Ward (Blenheim), Mrs. A. Hansel (Palmerston North), Mrs. A. E. Harding (Dargaville) and Miss T. Penney (Scotland) are at the Station Hotel.
Mrs. R. S. Milne, who before her marriage was Miss Margaret Diedrich, of Santa Barbara, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa. Mr. and Mrs. Milne, who were married at Ojai, near Santa Barbara, on July 9, are at 'present staying with Mrs. J. S. Milne, of Vincent Avenue, Remuera. Mrs. Milne, who was a student at Stanford University for three years, visited Auckland last," year when she was accompanied by her mother and her brother.
