SON OF BLANDFORD
BULANDSHAR AT KARAMU Bulandshar is the first son of Blandford to come to New Zealand and of that famous sire it was said nis death was a severe loss to the breeding lndustrv, especially in England, for his progenv won over £300,000. Bulandshar who is at the Karamu Stud, Hastings, is a typical Blandford horse and his voung stock show great, promise. Not .only are they possessed of size and Bubstance hut _ those seen have had perfect dispositions. Bulandshar's dam, herself a good performer, is a daughter of Spearmint and it is interesting to note that Buiandshar's sire and maternal grandsire between them produced four Derby winners. This young sire carried two of the most prized strains in the thoroughbred world.
