CARNIVAL AT SUVA % [from our own correspondent] SUVA. July 28 Tho Suva bowling carnival, which concluded to-day. attracted a number of bowlers from New Zealand. The Dominion players wero successful in winning the pairs and tho open rink event, and Now Zealand rinks also won tho pennant competition, which is always played at tho conclusion of tho carnival. Tho Pacific, pairs was won by H. A. Martin (Waipukurau) and ,T. A. Martin (Wellington). In the final of tho open rinks competition T. B. Booth, W. Chigwidden, G. P. Russell, A. T). Locko (Hamilton) defeated Greonway, Burgess, Bishop. W. Langloy (New Plymouth), 22"2.4 —'-"2. This was a splendid game to watch, with koen and accurato bowling on either side.
