RESTITUTION OF RIGHTS SEVERAL PETITIONS GRANTED Several petitions' for the restitution of conjugal rights were dealt with'by Mr. Jusice Fair in the Supremo Court yesterday. An order for her husband's return was sought by Phyllis ,31aud Caroline Gordon (Mr, Hubble) against Archibald John Gordon, The parties were married in November, 1929, in New South Wales, and. they came to New Zpaland in 1934. - 1 The petitioner said they had a homo in New Zealand for a tijne, but when they' were both working for a sales orgahisation and travelling ' round together they gave up the home. In January last she was injured in a motor accident near Hamilton and her husband afterwards took her to a relative in Auckland, In March he wrote saying ho had lost affection for her and did not wish to live with her again. She had been unable to persuade him to change his mind. His Honor made an order for the husband to receive his wife back within 14 days. An able seaman of the Royal Navy, James Fulton (Mr. West), sought an order for restitution of conjugal rights against Mary Barbara Fulton. The.v were married in December, 1930, and tho petitioner said his wife left him in April, 1936. Sho then went to Christchurch for no reason at all and had refused to return. His Honor made an order for tho wife to return to her husband within 14 days. • An order for return within 14 days of service was also made in the case of Noel Verdun Beeby (Mr. Greville) against Nancy Jean Beeby.
